Computers

Guests with a MAIN Library Alliance card (a library card from any library in Morris County) can use the Library’s adult and teen public computers. Guests without a MAIN Library Alliance card can request a guest computer pass at the circulation desk The public computers consist of: 
 

  • Multiple PC desktops and 1 iMac desktop with internet availability, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software.

  • 1 PC with a keyboard for the blind and visually impaired with access for eligible registered users to the BARD database (Braille and Audio Reading Database) and JAWS computer screen reader.

  • 1 Alienware gaming computer

  • PC Desktop computers with educational games

  • 2 AWE Learning computers with educational games and software.

WiFi

Free WIFI access is available throughout the entire library.

Fax, Copy, Print, & Scan

Fax service is available at the library. Please ask staff at the information/circulation at the front of the library to fax.
 

  • The fee for sending faxes from the library to a number within the continental United States is $1.00 per page.

  • The fee for sending faxes from the library to a number outside the continental United States is $2.00 per page

  • There is no fee for self-service faxing using our scanner. 


The library has one black and white/color photocopier. It accepts nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar bills.
 

  • Black and white copies cost 10¢ per page

  • Color copies cost 25¢ per page

The library has one scanner available for public use. Patrons are able to email scanned files, fax scanned files at no charge, or may bring a flash drive to save scanned files. The scanner is free to use.

Digital Resources & Services

Those with a MAIN Library Alliance (a library card from any library in Morris County) card in good standing can access eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines, streaming video, digital comics, and a variety of research databases from home or from the library. Computer Classes

The library's Joseph Gasparro Technology Training Center offers PC laptops with internet access, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software.  We offer computer classes on a variety of beginner to intermediate technology topics for those with Montville library cards.  Please see our events calendar for the current schedule of offerings.
