Library of Things
The Montville Township Public Library is excited to announce our newest expansion to our "Library of Things." In addition to Museum Passes and board games, our Library of Things is offering more non-traditional collections of items that you can try rather than buy! Some of these items are things you may only use once or they may be something after you will want to purchase for yourself. We have listened to your suggestions and have added some great new items by request. Montville Township Public Library is here to offer you a variety of choices in our Library of Things for you to check out!
"Things" are divided into four broad categories: Technology, Home, Hobbies and Games. Examples of items that can be borrowed are: an Sports Camera (Technology), a Sewing Machine (Home), a Drum Pad (Hobby), and a Pickle Ball set (Game). Items are available to check out in person only at the Library. Please ask at the Circulation desk for details and agreements on borrowing "Things." These new items have been added for your enjoyment. In the near future, more selections will be added to our collection. We would appreciate your suggestions.
Most items are available for Montville Township Public Library Cardholders (18+) in good standing to borrow for seven (7) days. Description of all items can be found in the library catalog www.catalog.mainlib.org. In order to borrow certain items, a Lending Agreement must be signed. Replacement costs vary for items, so please be aware of the policy and contact our Circulation Staff for more information.
